Just a little change in the plan

I saw Dr. Terry today, and he says the baby is measuring BIG. My due date has been changed from July 22 to July 19. So technically I am 40 weeks today! I STILL have 0 dilation, so we have booked my induction for Monday, July 26th. What that means is Sunday, July 25th I will go to the hospital & take a pill to soften my stuff up (hopefully) and sleep over. Sunday morning they will check me, I could possibly go into labor on my own at that point. If I do not, then I get an IV and they administer Pitocin. Pitocin should induce labor & hopefully the baby will make his debut. If I do not go into labor, then I am facing the BIG C. Yep, C section city! I guess you gotta do what ya gotta do. Dr. Terry says NO MATTER what the out come, We will have a baby on Monday! I'm pretty nervous, but have full confidence in Dr. Terry. He is a great guy & I have asked my mom to be there along with Matthew, so I hope that will help me keep my head on straight!

I am 38 weeks, and life is good! We are ready! We did have a little crisis with the car seat, oops! Matthew was so great, got our seat protectors & car seats installed. Then our stroller car seat adapter arrived, and we realized the car seat did not fit! We had to exchange the car seat for a different one, which was a little stressful since Matthew had thrown away all the original packaging. Babies R us was awesome though, because they took everything back no questions asked. We had to order the new seats online, so we are hoping they make it here in time to take the baby home from the hospital. It may not even be an issue because...the Dr. has been checking for dilation, but it's just not happening. ZERO, zilch, nothing!!! I've been told this is normal for your 1st baby, but I am starting to get extremely impatient.

Belly Bump

I am 34 weeks along, whew I am one big mamma! The baby is big & very active! I've decided it feels like having snakes in your belly. Hmmm...I know weird, right! The Dr. says that he is measuring 1 week and 3 days ahead of his due date. So that means I am going to be pushing out a Giant baby or maybe he will come early!

The Last Shower
