Lake Powell with the Posse

We took a much needed weekend away to Lake Powell, Wahweap Marina in Page, AZ with The Bolerjack's & Phu & Andrea. We left Thursday after work & all rode down together in Brian's big truck. We stayed in the hotel right on the dock which was walking distance from our boat slip. Yeah, it's was pretty amazing! We all got some much needed SUNSHINE, R&R (for the prego's Lori & I), Boating, Surfing, Wake Boarding and best of all a TAN.

More Shower Fabulous-ness!

We had a super dope "Couples" Baby shower with all our crazy fun friends at Lori & Brian Bolerjack's beautiful home. Lori & Brian did such a wonderful job decorating, using our Nursery colors even down to colored gum ball center pieces on all the tables, providing yummy food, drinks & dessert for everyone. We had such a great time!!!

Baby Shower Madness

We have the most amazing family & friends that have gone above & beyond for us, it's so overwhelming to be the center of attention & have such amazing parties thrown in our honor for our new baby! We are so Lucky!!!

Nursery Time

We have been searching for the perfect crib for our little boy. What an adventure...Babinsky's, Oopsie Daisy, Babies R Us, RC Willey & USA Baby...so many places to choose from! We finally decided on a great black crib & changing table/dresser. It hopefully will last us for our next baby as well...ha! (Yes, I said it!)

After searching high and low for furniture, it became really clear that finding bedding to match the paint in the baby room was going to be impossible! We were going to HAVE TO have the bedding especially made to match. My fabulous friend Calli who also happens to be an amazing decorator helped me pick out some fun fabric that is actually gender neutral so we can hopefully use it again if we have a girl next time. (There I go again, signing myself up for another round of pregnancy! yikes)

Here are the fabrics we selected, the theme will be jungle-ish. Matthew's step mom Kim has offered to make all the bedding & drapes for us which is SO EXCITING because she is an amazing seamstress & owns her own successful quilting business. It's going to be so cute & modern! Yeah!
